Rome \u2013\u00a0Entries are now open<\/strong> to participate in the first edition of the contest CIAK, EUROPA, SI VOTA<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The initiative, promoted by the Representation in Italy of the European Commission<\/strong>, the European Parliament – Office in Italy and Fondazione Cinema per Roma, <\/strong>is aimed at young filmmakers, videomakers, professionals and visual arts enthusiasts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The contest is aimed at creating a short video<\/strong>, lasting a maximum of 3 minutes<\/strong>, to inspire, inform and raise awareness among citizens, particularly the younger generation, about the importance of voting<\/strong> in the European elections<\/strong> to be held in the 27 member states of the European Union from June 6 to 9, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong> is free<\/strong> and open until Sunday, March 17, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A jury<\/strong>, appointed jointly by the European Commission’s Representation in Italy, the European Parliament – Office in Italy and Fondazione Cinema per Roma, will determine the three winners of the contest<\/strong>: up for grabs are cash prizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 euros and free accreditation to the 2024 Film Festival, scheduled for October 16-27.<\/p>\n
