Along with Ignazio Marino, outgoing European Commissioner for the Environment and the Sea, Virginius Sinkevicius (Lithuania), Marie Toussaint (France), Alice Bah Kuhnke (Sweden), and Sergey Lagodinsky (Germany) were appointed vice-chairmen.
