However,\u00a0<strong>Viktor Orb\u00e1n<\/strong> has already made it clear that it will be six months marked by unpredictability and ever-high tensions with EU leaders and the heads\u00a0of other EU institutions. &#8220;<strong>Peace Mission 3.0. His every word will always have to be measured by the scales to see <strong>where his being a provocative Prime Minister\u00a0ends and where his open challenge to the unity of the Union in relations with third countries<\/strong> begins. Just as last week in Kyiv and Moscow, Orb\u00e1n arrives today (July 8) in Beijing\u00a0without a mandate from the heads of state and governments of member countries or other EU institutions. The issue has already created a first crack in the European right-wing front on the eve of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eunews.it\/en\/2024\/07\/02\/orbans-patriots-for-europe-project-proceeds-apace-on-july-8-the-constituent-meeting-of-the-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"_blank noopener\">official formation of the group Patriots for Europe<\/a> in the EU Parliament: &#8220;<strong>Patriotism means defending European nations, not supporting illegal occupations<\/strong>,&#8221;\u00a0Orb\u00e1n\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ecrgroup\/status\/1809878845174026442\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attacked<\/a>\u00a0 the co-chair of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group, <strong>Nicola Procaccini<\/strong>, MEP of Fratelli d&#8217;Italia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After &#8220;surprise&#8221; visits to Kyiv and Moscow, the Hungarian Prime Minister and rotating President of the EU institution is in Beijing on his &#8220;peace mission 3.0,&#8221; on the very day of the formation of the &#8216;Patriots for Europe&#8217; parliamentary group.
