Currently, the project is fully financed with a \u20ac300 million grant from the EU, from the Connecting Europe Facility, and the total cost is about \u20ac850 million; the rest will be financed equally by Terna and Steg. We are now in a phase where we are working on the tenders, analyzing all the bids received for the cable and the converter stations in Sicily and Tunisia.
