Brussels – A government ranging from the right to the centre-left, somewhat in the key of the national entente, excluding the extreme wings, called for by President Emmanuel Macron. The government unveiled this evening by the secretary general of Elise and chaired by Fran\u00e7ois Bayrou<\/strong> also includes\u00a0two former prime ministers, former Socialist premier Manuel Valls<\/strong>, with the delegation to Overseas, and former Macronian Elisabeth Borne<\/strong>, to Education.<\/p>\n

Eric Lombard<\/strong>, director of Cassa Depositi, will be the economy minister; Gerard Darmanin<\/strong>, former interior minister, will go to justice.<\/p>\n

Jean-Noel Barrot<\/strong>, a centrist, was confirmed as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Europe. Bruno Retailleau<\/strong>, from the rightmost wing of the R\u00e9publicains, was also confirmed at the Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n
