According to <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/web\/products-eurostat-news\/w\/edn-20250214-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a> released today (Feb. 14) by Eurostat, the value of total jewelry production in the European Union reached <strong>4,363 million euros in 2023, up\u00a01 percent<\/strong> from 4,321 million euros in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Italy is still the leading producer<\/strong> among the 27 member countries, with a production value of 1,559 million euros in 2023, accounting for 36 percent of the EU total. France follows, with a 33 percent share and a value of 1,444 million euros. Rome and Paris comprise nearly 70 percent of the old continent&#8217;s total production. In contrast, the sharpest declines were in Lithuania, where production fell by 36 percent, Latvia (-16 percent), and Italy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EU production up 1 percent.
