Brussels – The European Investment Bank<\/strong> (EIB) has signed a 50 million loan<\/strong> with GPI SPA<\/a>, an Italian company based in Trento that provides healthcare services. Acting as intermediary was the Veneto-based credit institution Banca Finint. “We are particularly pleased that a prestigious credit institution such as the EIB recognises GPI’s strategic role in the healthcare context and the value of the investments we have planned<\/strong> to support our 2025\u20132029 business plan,<\/strong> said Fausto Manzana, the company’s CEO. <\/p>\n

This is the first time the EIB has financed a GPI project. The Italian company is a major player in services supporting the digital transformation of healthcare. Its partnerships span the private and public sectors in national and international contexts. In Italy, GPI has more than 50 offices and has customers in 70 countries. <\/strong>The investments promoted by the EIB will be made at its Italian sites and, to a lesser extent, in France. <\/p>\n

The funding will particularly accelerate the development of Gpi4Med<\/strong>, a software platform <\/span>dedicated to a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the healthcare sector. The platform is active in various fields, including diagnostics, Critical Care<\/strong> (anaesthesia, intensive care, and operating theatres), and Blood & SOHO<\/strong>, i.e., the series of processes related to the donation, collection, management, and transfusion of blood and other substances of human origin.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The EIB’s commitment is part of a broader project in which Italy is often involved. In 2024, 99 operations <\/strong>were signed, totaling \u20ac10.9 billion<\/strong> invested in the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
