Brussels – The European Investment Bank<\/a> (EIB) has approved a financing package of \u20ac450 million for ACEA to support the modernisation and upgrading of water infrastructure in the Lazio region<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> A first tranche of \u20ac200 million is being announced today (27 July) and will help kick-start the investment programme. The EIB\u2019s financing will support ACEA\u2019s extensive investment plan for the period 2027\u20132030, aimed at improving water supply, treatment, and distribution services, as well as wastewater management, in the areas served in Lazio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The funded projects include the modernisation of networks, the reduction of water losses, the digitalisation of systems, the strengthening of infrastructure interconnections and the development of solutions for the reuse of water resources, with the aim of increasing overall efficiency and resilience to climate change.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
