On 15 September, the package on fair <strong>labour mobility<\/strong> \u2013 due on 15 September and comprising three legislative proposals: a European social security card, the strengthening of the European Labour Authority, and an initiative on skills portability \u2013 could then be presented.<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the seminar on 4 September will also provide an opportunity to begin drafting her&nbsp;<strong>State of the Union <\/strong>speech, scheduled for 15 September. The <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/state-union_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">State of the Union&nbsp;<\/a>will serve, as usual, to <span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"it\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">take stock of the results achieved and outline future priorities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Housing, public procurement and preparations for the State of the Union address: initiatives expected after the summer.
