{"id":462137,"date":"2026-08-11T12:50:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T10:50:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eunews.it\/2026\/08\/11\/ucraina-a-giugno-06-per-cento-di-protezione-temporanea-ue\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T13:20:01","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T11:20:01","slug":"ukraine-eu-temporary-protection-up-by-0-6-per-cent-in-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eunews.it\/en\/2026\/08\/11\/ukraine-eu-temporary-protection-up-by-0-6-per-cent-in-june\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine: EU temporary protection up by 0.6 per cent in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brussels &#8211; On<span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"it\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">&nbsp;30 June 2026, a total of 4.41 million non-EU citizens who had fled Ukraine had&nbsp;temporary protection in the EU.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eunews.it\/en\/2026\/05\/08\/ukrainian-displaced-under-temporary-eu-protection-drop-to-4-33-million-in-march\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Compared with the end of May<\/a>&nbsp;2026, the number of people from Ukraine under temporary protection increased by 24,380 (+0.6 per cent), according to Eurostat figures released today (11 August).<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"it\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The EU countries hosting the highest number of beneficiaries of temporary protection from Ukraine were Germany (1,286,230 people, accounting for 29.2 per cent of the EU total), Poland (961,170, accounting for 21.8 per cent), and the Czech Republic (390,810, accounting for 8.9 per cent).
