These sanctions were already in force and have been <strong>extended until 31 October 2027<\/strong>. The list includes 15 individuals and 8 groups. In a press release, the Council specifies that all designated entities are subject to an asset freeze and a travel ban&nbsp;in the Union. EU persons and entities are prohibited from making funds, financial assets or economic resources available to them. Today\u2019s measures  complement those of the United Nations Security Council.
