Rome – Entries are now open to participate in the first edition of the contest CIAK, EUROPA, SI VOTA!

The initiative, promoted by the Representation in Italy of the European Commission, the European Parliament – Office in Italy and Fondazione Cinema per Roma, is aimed at young filmmakers, videomakers, professionals and visual arts enthusiasts.

The contest is aimed at creating a short video, lasting a maximum of 3 minutes, to inspire, inform and raise awareness among citizens, particularly the younger generation, about the importance of voting in the European elections to be held in the 27 member states of the European Union from June 6 to 9, 2024.

Registration is free and open until Sunday, March 17, 2024.

A jury, appointed jointly by the European Commission’s Representation in Italy, the European Parliament – Office in Italy and Fondazione Cinema per Roma, will determine the three winners of the contest: up for grabs are cash prizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 euros and free accreditation to the 2024 Film Festival, scheduled for October 16-27.
