Brussels – In May 2024, compared with April 2024, seasonally adjusted industrial production decreased by 0.6 percent (pct) in the euro area and by 0.8 pct in the EU, according to the first estimates from Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union. In April 2024, industrial production was unchanged in the euro area and grew by 0.5 pct in the EU.
