    Emanuele Tarantino

    Brussels – Emanuele Tarantino is the new chief Competition economist in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (Dg Comp). An Italian, an experienced economist, an academic advisor for the Banco de España, and a member of DG Comp’s Economic Advisory Group, he will work to ensure that all firms compete fairly and equitably on their merits within the single market for the benefit of consumers, businesses and the European economy.
