Brussels – Dismiss Google’s appeal and confirm the €4.1 billion record fine imposed by the European Union’s General Court against the web giant: this is the opinion of Advocate General Juliane Kokott, sent today (June 19) to the Court of Justice of the EU, in the dispute that is dragging on since 2018. The Court of Justice should rule on the fine in the coming weeks, but according to the jurist “ the legal arguments put forward by Google are ineffective.”
