Brussels – Spain is back to normal. Not all services have been restored (Madrid’s metro was still out of service this morning). However, after yesterday’s blackout, the cause of which is still under investigation, electricity has been restored in 99 percent of the country, and trains have also resumed.

This was announced by Spanish electricity grid operator REE, pointing out that as of 6 a.m. 99.16 per cent of the electricity supply was secured, with a production of 21.26 megawatts (MW).
