EP Plenary Session - State violence in Minneapolis and the rule of law in the United States

Brussels – To mark Republic Day, on Monday 1 June from 5.30 pm, MEPs from the Democratic Party will read out the articles of the Constitution in front of the Altiero Spinelli Building at the European Parliament. Also taking part in the event, entitled “Europe and Democracy”, will be the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola; the President of the Group of the Socialists and Democrats (S&D), Iratxe Garcia Perez; and the Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Federica Favi. “Eighty years on from 2 June 1946, we proudly celebrate this democratic legacy,” emphasised Nicola Zingaretti, head of the PD delegation to the European Parliament.
