The text that follows is the content o an e-mail sent yesterday by the “Ec Internal Communication” office to the European Commission officials:
“As announced last week on My IntraComm, this is the first edition of ‘News & Views’ – a new tool to provide you with the latest inside information on the Commission’s work and help you answer those tricky questions regarding major EU issues in the media spotlight.
‘News & Views’ features a main story, a related ‘Info sheet’ (in the form of frequently asked questions), as well as a ‘mythbuster’ giving you the facts to correct false stories or misrepresentations in the media. In the ‘Comments’ forum, you can react to the story and give feedback or information from your contacts with citizens and stakeholders. On the website, you will be able to consult previous issues and find all the published ‘Info sheets’.
We trust you will find this useful and look forward to your feedback on this initiative – via the forum, of course”.
