Ok Antitrust ad acquisizione del business dei software Hpe da parte di Micro Focus (ENG)

Brussels – The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of the software business, as well as of certain additional assets related to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (“HPE”) of the US, by Micro Focus of the UK. Both HPE and Micro Focus are active in the supply of infrastructure software, including application development software. The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns because of the presence of a number of strong competitors and the recent entry or expansion of competitors in the market.
