Brussels – Seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.6% in both the euro area (EA19) and the EU28 during the fourth quarter of 2017, compared with the previous quarter, according to a flash estimate published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In the third quarter of 2017, GDP grew by 0.7% in both zones. +2.7% and 2.6% respectively compared with the fourth quarter of 2016
In December 2017 compared with November 2017, seasonally adjusted industrial production rose by 0.4% in the euro area (EA19) and by 0.3% in the EU28, according to estimates fromEurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In November 2017, industrial production rose by 1.3% in the euro area and by 1.2% in the EU28.
