Renzi in Iraq: the EU has to be here, we are not turning our back to massacres

The Italian Prime Minister has also underlined the need for Iraq to keep its integrity as crucial for the stability of the entire area. al-Maliki talked with Renzi as Italian Prime Minister and as President of the European Union for the Semester, talking about his withdrawal from the premiership as a something he felt as needed. The outgoing president said Europe does not need to be frightened for democracy in Iraq, which is young but very dear to Iraqis.
