Frankfurter Rundschau: “Un intellettuale timido che è stato una benedizione per la Chiesa”
“In modo molto personale, papa Benedetto XVI ha detto addio alla comunità cattolica di Roma” davanti a centomila persone riunite in piazza San Pietro, riporta il quotidiano. Il suo pontificato terminerà giovedì alle venti. Da allora Ratzinger sarà “papa emerito”, un titolo inedito. Nel suo editoriale il quotidiano sottolinea che i sostenitori del papa tedesco ricorderanno “un intellettuale timido che è stato una benedizione per la Chiesa, ma non è riuscito a condurla verso la modernità”.
